I collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to me when registering on the Services or Apps, expressing an interest in obtaining information about me or my products and services, when participating in activities on the Services or Apps or otherwise contacting me.

Publicly Available Personal Information. I collect first name, maiden name, last name, nickname, business email; email addresses; phone numbers; and other similar data.

Payment Data. PayPal and Transferwise store all payment data. Facebook Permissions.

By default, I access your Facebook basic account information, including name, email, gender, birthday, current city, and profile picture URL, or other information that you choose to make public. Furthermore, I process your data for these purposes in reliance on my legitimate business interests, to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, or for compliance with my legal obligations. Finally, I indicate the specific processing grounds I rely on next to each purpose listed below.

Below are some definitions that will help you understand my roles and responsibilities as The Inclusivity Translator:

5. How do I handle your social logins?

In Short: If you choose to register or log in to my services using a social media account, I  may access certain information about you.

My Services or Apps offer you the ability to register and log in using your third party social media account details (like your Facebook or Twitter logins). I will receive certain profile information about you from your social media provider where you choose to do this.

The profile information I  receive may vary depending on the social media provider concerned, but will often include your name, email address, friends list, profile picture, and other information you choose to make public. If you log in using Facebook, I  may also request access to additional permissions related to your accounts, such as friends, check-ins, and likes, and you may choose to grant or deny me access to each consent.

I will use the information I  receive only for the purposes described in this privacy policy or otherwise made clear to you on the Services or Apps. Kindly note that I  do not control, and are not responsible for, other uses of your personal information by your third-party social media provider. In Short: I am not responsible for the safety of any information you share with third-party providers who advertise my websites but are not affiliated with.

I cannot guarantee the safety and privacy of the data you provide to any third parties.

I am not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of any third parties, including other websites, services or applications that may be linked to or from the Services or Apps. 7. How long do I  keep your information?

In Short: I keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this privacy policy, unless otherwise required by law.

I will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a more extended retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this policy will require me to keep your personal information longer than when users have an account with me.

When I  have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, I  will either delete or anonymise it, or, if this is not possible (for example because your data has been stored in backup archives), then I  will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

Upon your request to terminate your account, I  will deactivate or delete your account and information from my active databases. However, some information may be retained in my files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce my Terms of Use or comply with legal requirements.

  • Opting out of email marketing: You can unsubscribe from my marketing email list at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails that I  send or by contacting me using the details provided below. Your details will then be removed from the marketing email list —. However, I  will still need to send you service-related emails necessary for your account’s administration and use. 11. Data breach

A privacy breach occurs when unauthorised access to or collection, use, disclosure, or personal information is disposed of. You will be notified about data breaches when I believe you are likely to be at risk of serious harm. For example, a data breach may result in severe financial damage or harm your mental or physical well-being. 

Suppose that I becomes aware of a security breach that has resulted or may result in unauthorised access, use, or disclosure of personal information, I will promptly investigate the matter and notify the applicable Supervisory Authority not later than 72 hours after having become aware of it unless the personal data breach is unlikely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons.

12. Controls for do-not-track features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. 

As such, I  do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that I  must follow in the future, I  will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy policy.

13. Do California residents have specific privacy rights?

In Short:  Yes, if you are a California resident, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information.

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits my users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal data (if any) I  disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with whom I  shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident who would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to me using the contact information provided below.

If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with the Services or Apps, you are entitled to request the removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the Services or Apps.
